On September 24th the children and parents of Assumption School in Wood-Ridge, New Jersey opened their hearts and wallets to support the arts and crafts department of Pwoje Espwa. This would not have happened without the support of school principal Dr. Aileen Gianelli and teacher Irene Milatz. The children were instumental in arousing interest and helping on the day of the sale. Many thanks to all; Susan, Gloria, Emily,Gene, Joe and Carol. Gee it sounds like I just won an Academy Award. None the less it was fun and a wonderful way to expose the arts and crafts of Espwa.

konnyskorner@gmail.com During my trips to Haiti I have met many talented artists and craftsmen. Their products are exceptional and of varied design but the economic situation here in Haiti doesn't support a market for them. Those of you interested in owning some items I will post photos and descriptions along with a price list. E-mail me at konnyskorner@gmail.com with your order and I will ship them to you. A small postage fee will be added; the rest goes to Pwoje Espwa. www.freethekids.org
